Therese (Bredemus) Molzahn,
MS, RD, LD

Therese is a registered and licensed dietitian with significant experience helping people develop a personalized plan to build healthy habits, learn about nutrition management, create exercise plans, and better manage chronic conditions using nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle behavior changes.

She is very experienced working with women to develop nutritional plans for better management of PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, and pregnancy. Therese works hard to find solutions for her patients that meet their cultural, religious, and ethnic preferences while working within each person's learning style and motivational needs.

Background and Education

Therese earned her master's degree in Clinical Nutrition and her bachelor's degree in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Since earning her degrees, she has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a wide variety of people with diverse health needs and goals.

In her words

We really appreciate what Therese says about her work:

"In my experiences as a dietitian, it’s become increasingly apparent that huge knowledge gaps exist in women’s health education around the relationship between food and their bodies. My goal as a dietitian is to help women feel confident in their food and nutrition choices to support their lifestyle and meet their personal goals.

I’ve taught women going through menopause the relationship between their changing bodies and shifting nutrition needs, counseled pregnant women on how to eat to support a growing baby, and helped counsel women on how to eat to reduce symptoms of PCOS and endometriosis and improve fertility. I’ve also coached many women through personal weight loss journeys of all ages and worked with women with chronic conditions. It is so rewarding to guide women through their personalized health journey!"

Activities and Family

Therese is a huge fan of the outdoors and tries to spend time ourside year round. She loves biking, camping, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, fat biking, and canoeing. She also enjoys traveling and a good bonfire in the fall. We should have guessed that she loves to figure out how to cook "gourmet" meals on a camp stove! Planning for that is her favorite thing to do. (BTW, we've seen in her action planning the menu for our new juice bar in WomanWoRX – JuiceWoRX – and she's exceptionally good at creating flavorful, delicious, and nutritious food.)
