Background
What is ThermiVa?

ThermiVa uses RF energy that gently heats tissue to restore normal tissue tone and function. (This is the same safe technology that has been used for many years in other medical applications.)

ThermiVa can be used both externally and internally. When used inside the vagina, it has proven to effectively revive atrophic tissue and other structures.

ThermiVa is non-surgical ... so there's no downtime, no anesthesia, and sexual relations may resume the same day. Patients see a noticeable improvement after 1 or 2 sessions and the results last a long time.

Why is ThermiVa used for certain treatments?

Women are treated with ThermiVa for a number of different reasons, but these are often the most important:

  • “Loose” vaginal feel since childbirth and/or menopause
  • Vaginal dryness during intercourse
  • Trouble reaching orgasm
  • Occasional urinary dribble or leakage with sneezing, coughing or exercise
  • Intimate relationships suffering due to changes
  • Have experienced a loss of self-confidence, loss of interest in sex or loss of desire

Minnesota Womens Care is phenomenal! From the front desk staff always greeting me with a smile when I walk in to my appointments with Dr. Kelly and Heather. I have spent most of my adult life with uterine pain and from the first time I walked into their office I felt heard. The staff is incredible. I recommend Minnesota Womens Care to everyone I know!
