Misty Farrelly, DPT

In the 16 years she has been a physical therapist, Misty has had an incredible range of experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. This includes pediatric, geriatric, and orthopedic patients, as well as patients with multiple pelvic floor dysfunctions.

In recent years, Misty has continue to develop her professional skills with additional training in menopause and pelvic floor therapy. As an active team member, she provided inservices on pelvic health, Interstitial Cystitis, Perimenopause, and Menopause.

About her work, Misty says:

"I have treated a vast patient population within my career duration and have developed a strong passion for treating pelvic floor dysfunction. I love the challenge treating this population can present and having the honor of being a safe and supportive place to openly discuss sensitive and vulnerable topics that impact a person’s daily life. I love the empowerment people receive through the education process and seeing improvements in quality of life that occur when treating the pelvic floor and impacting structures.

I believe strongly in active listening and joint problem solving during a therapy episode of care. I believe in open direct communication and working with a patient to develop an individualized, whole-person approach to intervention. I strongly believe in the benefits of comprehensive intervention and include self-management, education, exercise, and manual techniques in all plans of care."
